Prices and Payment

Glasgow Surgery is fee-assured with healthcare insurers and welcomes all patients whether they have health insurance or have decided to self-pay. All-inclusive fixed price packages are available. Final treatment costs may vary depending on the complexity of surgery, pre-existing health consitions, length of hospital stay and whether additional investigations are required.

Procedure and hospital fees are confirmed after consultation and any required diagnostic tests.

Insurance and Fixed Price Packages

Patients with the major healthcare insurers including BUPA, WPA, Vitality, AVIVA, AXA, Simplyhealth and most others are usually covered to undergo surgery at Ross Hall Hospital. Pre-authorisation is often required from the insurance provider.

If you do not have insurance, attractive all-inclusive fixed price packages are available. Payment for fixed price packages is made directly to Ross Hall Hospital.

Consultation fees are not included in the hospital fee for procedures and are collected separately by Ross Hall Hospital on behalf of Glasgow Surgery Ltd. Please check with your insurance provider that your policy covers consultation fees.

The final price for treatment will be confirmed in writing following your consultation and any necessary diagnostic tests.

Ross Hall Hospital can provide advice and support on how to claim the costs of private medical care through your insurer. The Self-Pay Team can advise on all-inclusive fixed price packages.
